Hi all,

Can I please have some advice on connecting MySKy to an old TV. We are in CHCH and had to move to temporary accomodation. The house has a Sky Dish and aerial ports but I have no idea what plugs to use to/from the sky box. I just took the sky box with me not cables.

The TV is quite an old Panasonic with only an aerial port at the back. Can some one please tell me what I need to plug from where to where on the Sky box and the TV.  Thanks heaps.

If you only have an aerial port on your TV, surely you're going to need an f-type to coax cable?

Is this a new or old sky box? (New ones are called mysky hdi and are black)

I dont know about the old one, but the new ones do not have an aerial output, so you will need a seperate 'RF modulator' to convert the yellow/red/black RCA jacks to a tv aerial style plug.
Dick smith dont stock Rf modulators, jaycar do but their shop is in the south city area which is probably cut off.

So the TV definately doesnt come with yellow and white round plugs on the back as well?
