Over the past few days I have noticed that (on at least one programme, TV One's 6.00 am Business show) if I am recording and wish to fast forward while it's still recording, instead of getting the usual speeded-up video, it does ff but freeze-frames at the point where the ff started. i.e. doesn't show the video of the ff.

I find this pretty annoyong because you can't tell where to stop the ff. Anyone else seen this? Could it be a problem with our particular box?

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

yep, happened to me - got worse over time until I needed an HDD replacement.

I also had random skips on occasion.
