Does anyone experience a similar problem to this?
When first powering on MySkyHDi it runs OK for 10 minutes, then drops both the sound and picture on the HDMI output only. Ten minutes later it comes back and I have no further problems. That is until I next power it on.
This has been happening every day since earlier in April when, as near as I can determine, there was a software upgrade to my MySkyHDi. It happens every time, it's not an intermittent problem.
The MySkyHDi HDMI output feeds my AV receiver. I know the receiver is unlikely to be causing the problem because I have several other HDMI inputs to to it (DVD player, DVD recorder, Freevieww HD set top box) and they are working just fine.
Unusually I utilise two MySkyHDi feeds - the HDMI one referred vto above and a second component connection that goes direct to my TV. So the interim work-around for my HDMI signal dropping out is to switch the TV over to the component input from MySkyHDi and watch this for the ten minutes it takes for the HDMI signal to wake up once more.
My other work-around is to leave my MySkyHDi powered on. But it's pretty noisy and uses a lot of power on stand-by so I prefer not to do this.
