Is it just me or have other people noted that when FF through a recorded program the picture remains frozen then changes back to real time when you press play again? Makes it bloody tough to find the correct bit in the rugby. Hasn't done it on all recorded programs but definitely on two recorded matches last night.?

It does this when your hard drive is really close to full and it doesn't have enough room to store all the frames.

We had this exact problem recently on programmes we had recorded but not when catching up on 'live pause'. It was not because the HDD was full - it was no way near full. And yep, it's very annoying.

Sky guy came and did a full re-format of the HDD and went away again. That did not fix it so they came back and gave us a new My Sky box and remote last week.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

mmmh...The plot deepensUndecided

Noticed it is primarily on the two super rugby matches we recorded. Most other things on the disk play fine so it would appear to be some error when recording them in particular.

Thx again.
