whilst most people (including myself) have been very impressed with ESPN HD, i just want to give a thumbs up to MTV classic.
At last we have an MTV channel that is actually giving us some great music and free from reality tv crap(only my opinion),  some great tunes/videos on last night...some 80's classics mixed with some great 90's stuff, if this keeps up i  will be glued to this channel  for a while.
keep it up SKY...a good start to June, some more great channels before the end of the year i hope!

MTV aint what it used to be, classic quote from the movie "Kickin it old school";

Mom! The TV's broken.

Supposed to be MTV, but they're not playing any videos.

It's just a bunch of girls talking and crying.

I don't see the difference between this and Channel 63 (which was J2)

More themed stuff (best of etc) and less easy listening "lounge"-type crap!
I was watching 63 at McDs in Bulls yesterday (lunch) and every song was out to put me to sleep... elevator music!

Happy with the format and the content.

Wish they would:
1. Increase the bitrate, the picture quality is much, much, worse than many other channels.
2. Get the God-awful orange logo off the screen instead of overlaying it over every video, or at least move it into the corner and make it semi-transparent so it's not so intrusive.

Yep- I'm on Sky. I just find it hard to watch anything with the logo plastered on top of the picture. It is pretty close the top-middle of the screen - might be OK on a 4:3 set, but in widescreen it's just too annoying. Very, very intrusive.

Picture quality is rubbish - way below what we are seeing on movies, BBC etc, and seems slightly worse than even the Box (another crappy picture quality channel). I just don't think they are allocating enough bitrate. Would be nice if they shut down the useless preview channel (channel 0) and reallocated its bandwith across some of the other channels.

It is kind of cool the way the orange bar progresses as the video plays - great for skipping songs.

Not sure if that is why they put it there
