Right,
This is a girly question as I cant see most of you blokes wanting to do this. I want to change my lounge around, but the problem is the Sky decoder is at the wrong end of the room.
I want to move it to the other side of the lounge, so what would I need to do to achieve that? When I got it installed I never bothered with the phone line, so its really just the cable that sky is plugged into. Is there a splitter we could get to divide the cable and run it under the house? And essentially have two locations that Sky would work at any one time.

Ring around local installers, most will come and do a free quote, I advise picking the one who explains all your options and the benefits etc... not necessarily the cheapest one.

Most people think it cost a fortune to have a professional come and do the work but in most cases a job you you describe would be less than $100 with the proper wiring, splitter, connectors and skirting or wall outlets instead of just a hole in the floor letting in the cold from under the house.

Make sure they clip the cable under the floor too, poor practice having it lying on the ground under the house, other trades people will inevitably walk or trip on it.

Where in NZ are you? Other members may be able to recommend someone for you.

Yes,but cable it as an 'alternate' point rather than split it.
Uses less hardware ie cheaper ;-)

Why?!

Its a fifteen dollar splitter.... at most.

If your going to do a job, do it properly. The cost of getting someone to come around or even just spend the half hour to organise/do it themslves is not worth just doing it right the first time.
