Hi,

Can the NZ MySkyHDi remote control be set to control basic functions of the tv, such as power/volume etc?

Overseas (UK) remotes have a TV button inplace of the AV button, which can be coded to your tv... Cannot find anything online about the same for the NZ remote (with this AV button), and the manual suggests the AV button is for av loop only...

No, that functionality isn't in the NZ MySKY remote. If you can get hold of a Foxtel IQ remote it will work, though.
