I connect my MySky box to my set with a HDMI lead. To get a second output (non HD) it would appear I have the following options:
  • Video Out
  • S-Video Out
  • TV SCART
    1. Composite
    2. Component
    3. RGB
    4. S-Video
  • VCR SCART (Audio level fixed!)
    1. Composite
    2. Component
    3. S-Video
I have cabling to suit any of these, but I have 2 SCART cables:
  • One (labelled Croma Terminated) that has a yellow S-Video type plug and 1 each Red and White Audio RCAs
  • The other is has a Black S-Video type plug, a Yellow Video RCA and 1 each Red and White Audio RCAs
So which of this will give me the best output?

s-Video if mysky outputs on that. Still, wont take you long to test esp as one of your cables has both options!!

I think you can get HD over component, for sports at least, but not movies.  At least that's what I used to do when I had HDMI connected to my TV and component connected to my non-HDMI projector.  Gave great picture for watching the rugby Wink

If you care about keeping everything in HD, you can get an HDMI splitter like this one:

Which should work. Alternatively an HDFury and a component splitter would also let you run HD output to both TVs.

Or, if you are feeling wealthy, I notice in their flyer yesterday that Jaycar has a wireless HDMI sender/receiver for $475 (catalog AR1875). You could always find out whether buying two would let you beam the signal to both TVs.
