So got My Sky HDi all installed today.
Guy was here about 15 mins.

Tested the signal, setup the box (not much needed doing)

The box is quite wide TBH.
Channel browse is responsive.
Nice interface
The recording is tops.
Tested remote record which worked a dream.

The only thing. I hooked it up to my phone line via a micro filter, would'nt connect. Knocked my phone off as well. Unsure. Have unplugged it.

The HD does look good on TV3, not so good on One.
SD looks alright.

Well pleased.
Just debating that $25 extra for the sport.

Glad I went for the HDi box in the end!

well worth it but thats all i watch on sky but after watching sport in HD, be warned, trying to go back to watch it in SD is near impossible.

After HDi i had to upgrade our bedroom box as well as we found the SD box unbearable to watch by comparison, tbh our bedroom set is a 40" 1080p set so analog sd signal was never going to compare

Ordered the sports. LOL I was stewing about it all day.
Couple of clicks once logged in to Mysky and I was upgraded.

Really impressed with the SD picture TBH. Good enough for me.

28inch 720P samsung.

Agree, SD is not that bad, even on my 42". Annoying at time especially off-peak, but not bad. With MPEG2 a deblocking filter is options, where as with MPEG4 it is required by the standard. I suspect the non-MySky boxes do not have a deblocking filter while the MySky boxes do.
