Hi,

Before I waste my time on hold with sky, I figured I might be able to get some help here!  I've just moved in to a new property and am looking at ordering sky.  We have had naked DSL installed in advance of a full voice+data package (was using Snap BB on a telecom line at previous address and just moved snap across).  As I'm not sure on the voice activation date with snap, I would like to order Sky so we can actually watch some TV... Does Sky NZ require an active phone line before they would install?

Cheers.

Awesome, I figured that would be the case but when they star the home phone section on the website, sometimes they actually need it.

Both phone and on-line booking works well. No need for a phone line. If they ask, just say you are using VoIP and don't have a phone line. Unless you want them to install a phone socket for you and you plug it in when the line is active.
