Unsure if coincidence but just got off the phone to Sky, ordered HD for the rugby.

SS3 and ESPN saying Atmospheric conditions error message.

Anyone else getting it as well?

Sounds like your Sky box is having problems tuning to the stream those two services are in.

Try killing the mains power to the box for 15-30 seconds and see what happens

SS3 HD and ESPN HD is on the same Stream.. so you'll need to call Sky.

On the phone now, but fear people have left because of RWC opening night.

It's hard to find good help these days :)

*whispers: it's only rugby!* ;-)

Good luck with the fix.. it must be your stb/lnb having trouble with that particular frequency

Spoke to sky tech support.
usual stuff, reboot box etc.

She asked what connection I was using.
LOL I told her to turn off the HD as its on a seperate feed from SD and it will work.

Turned off, working all good.
Cancelled the HD ticket.

I live in an apartment block, there must be an issue with that freq.

After numerous emails back and forth and one replaced sky box. The issue has been sorted.

New building managers took a proactive approach and got SoundCraft in. They replaced an amplifier that feeds all apt on the same floor and the quality values doubled!

Perfect crisp HD.

cheers for the replies though guys and girls.

In all honesty I cancelled HD for a while, then out the blue there was a note in the apt lifts, saying that upgrades had been done.
I called up sky and got the HD ticket again... then when the issue still persisted I got in touch with the new building manager.
