Recently won a competition with Sky so we got the upgrade from standard to My sky+ free or something like that.
With the old setup we had it setup going from the satellite to our ground floor lounge going through our tv and then back out to magic land to an output in the master bedroom upstairs where we could see whatever was being displayed downstairs.
Went Sky jack > Decoder > standard TV cable > Output jack > Upstairs jack > Old CRT TV
So the Sky guy comes along and does the My Sky+ install and asks if we're outputting it to anywhere else in the house and if so it wont work for some reason and you'll need a $50 part to do so. I turned him down since it wasn't critical at all to us.
Now we've decided to get another TV for upstairs which will likely get used a lot more so we want to try and get it set up again.
Is the $50 part from Sky the only way? Im assuming not, this is where you guys come in
