I have My Sky Hdi multiroom and added the movie package yesterday but they only work on one decoder. I am guessing it's because the second decoder wasn't plugged in/powered up at the time as my bedroom TV had blown up.

Will this update automatically now that it's plugged in or do I need to ring sky?

I'm guessing you will need to contact Sky TV to resend the authentication to the smart card to enable the channels. Interestingly I thought the smart card with the non working movie channels would have received the update when the decoder was powered back on.

I thought that too. As of this morning it is working though. They must send updates out periodically. I assumed they would do so, especially for subscription cancellations. Just wasn't sure when and how often,

I'm glad its working. My understanding is that entitlements are refreshed regularly, which is what has updated your decoder.

The advice I got from SKY CS was that you should have called in to ask them to manually hit your card so that you would get the services right away, and also to let them help fix any other problems that might be there. Sorry this is a bit late.
