Hi,

A few quick questions:

If you have the sky sports add on package, can you view live sport on iSKY?
(or do you need to have a Multiroom add on/extra decoder to view live sports on iSKY?)

Can you view iSKY on an Android tablet?
-ie what form does the iSKY package work in, ~ is it a web page, or an application you run on your desktop?
Does it require flash capability etc?

Thanks.

I can answer this one.

If you have Sports you can view iSky.  You do not need Multiroom.

It just loads up in a webpage and runs in flash(once you login).

You can run it on an Android tablet but I found the stock standard browser did not work.  Another browser(Dolphin Browser HD) will make it work.

Regards
Patrick

Tried to watch Super Bowl in iSky today. It was blocked.

I asked the other week about watching iSky on an Android fone a Galaxy S2 but never got a final reply. So good luck with your tablet.

Hi iSky is only for channels Sky Sports 1, 2 & 3, Sky News and CNN.  The Super Bowl is on ESPN(Channel 34) which not an iSky channel.

I got my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 running this weekend using the Dolphin Browswer HD as recommended by another user in the Andriod forum.

Thanks
Patrick

Thanks for the replies guys.

So just to be clear, the Multiroom requirement has gone from iSKY live now?

~ meaning you can view live SKY Sports on iSKY with just one decoder (and the appropriate sports add on package)?

Yeah I remember the S2 iSKY thread, and also wasn't sure this had had a solid conclusion.  I don't have the tablet yet, just looking into that and whether iSKY is a goer on this.  Thanks.

Correct

I think at the start they were saying you needed Multiroom.  That is no longer a requirement.

I have one decoder at home with Basic and Sky Sport with no Multiroom.

I don't use it much but I can happily iSky here there and everywhere which is good when we are travelling
