Does anyone know if Sky intend to make an Android version of their app? Remote recording is very useful and I miss it since moving from ios

There have been other threads on this. A Sky marketing manager stated last May that they were working on an Android version but there's been no update since. I asked in Sept if any progress had been made and got the stock reply.

"Thank you for your email.

We have an Android version of the SKY TV App in development. At this stage we are unable to confirm when this will be released."

The Sky manager is now CEO of Igloo so he won't feel any pressure :)

I got wound up over this one too. Since May last year we have been waiting and still nothing. Apart from the initial stuff in the press in April / May last year the project seems to have completely died.

I am trying to let go of my anger now and resort to using the website for remote record on my Android phone.

Cheers! Matt.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.
