For Rialto yes, see previous posts on the subject (such as http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=106&topicid=89539) and I can confirm, we still have watchable Rialto recordings on our HDi since then.
Edit: of course, it's subject to change, and individual movies may have different policies, and Sky may have completed changed everything since then.
On one of the pvr recorders (Telstraclear I beleive), if you set up scheduled recordings before you cancled the channel, they still recorded and could be watched. Not sure if it still applies, or if works with the mysky box, probably not.
I watched Inglorious Basterds movie last week It was recorded in July 2010 on MySkyHDi. My movies subscription was cancelled a bit over a year ago. Will this ability continue? Who knows. I wouldn't put it past Sky to invoke some sort of cancellation policy so that we can't do this. All it needs is a firmware change. They can probably tell from the card whether or not your subscription is active or not and bar previously recorded programs that way. Would it be difficult for them to do, yes probably. Would they feel inclined to do it some time, probably.
