I have it on good authority that this is currently being worked on, but no ETA at this stage. Closed captions are not available on TV3's DTT broadcast either.
For TV3 HD CC to work would need TV3 to insert them into their feed in the right format and for SKY to allocate some bandwidth to carry them. This is what was needed to get TVNZ CC up on SKY HD. I don't think that the first part is happening.
