Hello Peoples,

Sky have a setting for live Pause, 15min,30min,60min.or off, does setting it to off free up a tuner so that maybe 3 programs can be recorded at the same time? If I don't ever watch tv live should I set this to off as having it set to on makes the my sky box work harder right?

You won't be able to record 3 programmes at the same time.

As Mark X said, you cant record 3 programs at the same time, Live pause is just recording the channel which is currently being watched, so turning off live pause wont free up a tuner.

Hi,

Is there a reason I have the option to turn off live pause? Does the box work harder with it turned on??

I've got mine turned off.

Just if recording two channels, and then you're watching a channel with it on that's three channels it'ts recording at same time. If all hd then that's a lot of data going onto drive.
If don't need it then nothing to lose by turning off in my view. I can't see how it's not working harder if on.

Max recordings you can set up at same time two, no matter what the setting is.
