Two programmes tonight that I've watched after being recorded on My Sky have had the ends of cut off before the programme has finished. Hugely frustrating! both on TV3. I've been on hold for Sky for ages with noone answering.  I have the settings to record 2 mins before the start and 10 minutes at the end - and yet still the full programme is not recording.  Anyone know what's going on??? thanks

"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"  goes the answer phone on the IT Crowd.  And in my experience with my MySky seems to fix most maladies.

That being said the channels aren't unknown for running late...

I think you can change the options regarding adding extra minuts each side of the scheduled start and end time.  Mine's on the default...

Anyway, that was my first post.... after all these years of being a lurker!

It can happen if you have recordings booked to start at the end of your recording. For example, if you record program A from 730 till 830, then 2 programs from 830 onwards, your recording schduled to end will finish early so the 2 new recordings can start at 828 (2 minutes before).

Thanks! both programmes did have two recordings programmed for immediately after, so that's good to know.

Sky finally answered my phone, and their advice was to switch on and off too.

So I guess time will tell. Thanks for the posts!!
