My current mobile is just not working properly (can't hear anything if someone rings me, which is a big issue!); I could reset it and play with it, but TBH, I've had a number of issues with the darn thing, and I've just had enough.

I'm wondering about replacing with either the Oppo A54 or A74; but would be interested to hear from anyone who's actually got one to see if they actually work or not...

And by "Work" I mean SMS works; VoLTE works, 4G data, etc, etc.   I don't need anything too fancy like WiFi calling, as generally I'm in good signal areas.

Thanks!

Bought the a74 from noel leeming for a family member. Sms, data are fine. Volte setting is on but unsure if they use that feature. Haven't had any complaints. Couple of days battery easy.

Likewise. Seems a solid fast phone for all your normal tasks. Email, internet, messaging, calling etc.

We've got a few at work. They are pretty solid. Officially sold by the carrier's so VoLTE / VoWifi / 5G will work.

The ones I've set up have come with Google messaging as the default app and RCS works great.

Have had a 54 for the past year.  Good phone at a good price no issues would buy again.

Running a A91 myself. It did have a fault not long after I purchased it with the battery not charging. Took it back to place of purchase (Noel Leeming) and was sent off and fixed.

No problems since then.

It's been getting regular android security updates.

Update: Bought an A74; very happy so far.

VoLTE [on Skinny] works well; can confirm 5G also works...
