i got a SE w760i phone the other day and bought a xt sim for it. when i start up the phone it says inactive sim and i cant ring or text at all. could anyone shed some light on this problem.

It is likely that the SIM is not connected to the network yet.

At a guess SIM not active on the network

Try SIM in another XT handset then this will prove the issue ask them to check KI string as well

problem sorted. what happen was telcom mixed up the order of the numbers on my sim. thanks for your help.
