Sure, of course its a disadvantage since it decreases the available software pool. Doesn't bother me a bit since I really dislike java apps Vs native apps anyways, but there is the occasional nugget amongst all that java software...
Just keep following this thread, and you should receive all the latest updates... We will post any new info we find, especially anything regarding it being available to purchase.
Admitively, I don't post everything I find and read, as I have read many blogs, reviews, and seen many YouTube videos about the N900, as has NZtechfreak, but we will post any major breaking news.
As time goes on, I will also update the first post of this thread just like I did with the N97 thread, so to find all the latest updates, downloads, bugs, specs etc etc...all you will have to do is check the first post of this thread...but we aint there yet.

kepster: How much longer do we have to suffer?!? ^^ Thanks euanandrews !!!
i don't know if this makes the waiting[suffering] better or worse, but JKK and Chippy did a mammoth uStream session on the n900 yesterday. if you've got a few hours i'd highly recommend it.
We are all waiting with baited breath for the official release date, who it will be available from and at what price at the earliest possible....
If your wanting to read more hands-on reviews, pop over to the nokiausers.net forums and there is a thread (in the N900 forum) created by Micky about his experience with an N900 prototype he has just received in the last couple days...
He is also taking requests for features people want tested, questions answered etc
