Johnr, you've misunderstood me

i was comparing:
=> sending 100kb data from phone to phone inside a MMS (=20c),
with
=> sending the same 100kb using some other GPRS method (eg email).. which would be 10 per KB, and paid for twice (sender and reciever).

it is a LOT more if you're roaming and paying $30 per MB for data!

I would consider a typical 40kb PXT at $1.40 ($1.20 GPRS charges+ the 20c PXT charge) to be a 'lot' more.

Any news johnr on how long it's going to be before we can start sending MMS's to anybody else overseas except for Vodafone oz? Surely it can't be hard to negotiate and send them to the other aussie networks considering both Vodafone networks are using the same platform?
