I have just tried calling a TelstraClear landline number here in Wellington and I can confirm that I was charged $0.49 for the call.

Really! will update ASAP. Sorry, I was basing it on what telecom said. (Prepay and Account (when I trasferred my own to Onebill) Good news as I call them often (I aint got my first bill yet)

Nice plan, I like it a lot. Shame the "free" minute off peak plans are still such plonkers.
