Johnr,
I am afraid that is hardely a "Big" CDMA Carrier.
And I can not find any to do with a major or big carrier.
A carrier changing from (D)AMPS to GSM, big deal. Both are Time Division standards, and GSM or CDMA are both good options when up grading from a AMPS network.

Were there not AMPS and GSM markets that U.S.C and Verizon bought that were failing and went bust??

But I guess, who cares. The post was about the TX95C, and you are all ways going to have the GSM vs. CDMA debate.

Cheers
Pete

Skyplonk is right. Guys, please open a new thread to discuss GSM x CDMA, GPRS x CDMA2000 1xRTT, 3GSM x CDMA2000 EvDO, whatever.

Please keep this thread on Hyundai tx95c.

Hyundai tx95c is really an old model in its origin country (South Korea).
It was released in Korea back in 2001.
Hyundai does not make any mobile under their name anymore, they are working with Pantech and Curitel.
What I want to say is the Best Telecom mobile - Hyundai tx95c has poor quality, since
it is old.
Camera Phones provided from Vodafone NZ don't also have up-to-date quality.
One thing good about GSM is you can bring new phone models from overseas.
Phones with 1.3M camera, video recorder, in-bulit flash, 260K display, and 64 poly
melody are released in other countries. And you can use them with Vodafone network..
I am using Samsung camera phone, and it is uncomparable with Hyundai tx95c or
Sharp GX-X0s.

THe sanyo phone can only take 340x280 picutres unlike the TX95c, so you get a better picture with the TX95c.
