I remember the very first mobile phone I used. I was working for Telecom and we had one to trial, I think it was a Panasonic.  It was a couple of haircuts ago now, back in the late 1980's.  The unit was about 250 mm square and about 120 mm deep with a handset.  It sure wasn't something you could put in your pocket.

The phones I've used and owned are

Motorola MicroTac one of the originals and the later one with the thin curved flip - great phones in their day.
Nokia 6255 another flip - nice and small with a great keypad.
Samsung F480T - a very nice looking phone but absolutely the worst phone I've ever used, couldn't wait to get rid of it.
Nokia 5800XM - a great phone with stereo speakers.
Nokia E7 - flip out Qwerty keyboard which is great - current phone
Nokia N9 - Meego OS, a great OS which had a lot of promise - current phone

Sony Xperia XA2 running Sailfish OS. https://sailfishos.org The true independent open source mobile OS
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6
Dell Inspiron 14z i5
