I can't remember all the details of all of my past phones (shoddy memory, not that many phones), but one of my first was a Nokia 7110. First phone with a scroll wheel, I understand. Very nice phone for its time.

I think the best of the bunch was the Nokia 6210, but the E51 has a very similar feel to it. The worst would be the Motorola d560, although the Ericsson T65 was pretty bad.

Dammit, I can't remember what model the fist phone I had was... way back in 1999, was a "bar" phone, with a short stubby antenna from Vodafone. wish there was a history of phone availability..

edit: aha... it was a motorola, similar to the m3588

After that there was:

(unknown phone)
Nokia 3210
(edit: oh yeah - got a Nokia 7110 here, but it was 2nd hand and broken, never used it)
Nokia 3310
Samsung CDMA similar to GSM A110 - First Telecom phone, bought by my work at the time
HTC Falcon
HTC Harrier
Sony Ericsson W800i - back to vodafone, *great* phone.
Blackberry Pearl
Blackberry Curve (Pearl got left on the car when I drove off)
iPhone (current, personal)
iPhone 3G (current, work)
Vodem Stick (current, not used, SIM now in netbook)
Dell Netbook (current, cool device!)
Samsung C5220 on XT (hasn't arrived yet, won it last week)

As primary phones, had on both Telecom/Vodafone networks for a long time.
I have had a LOT more phones but these were the main devices used for more than 3 months.

* = still have the original handset.

* 1994 - Motorola 9660 AMPS (my First mobile!!!!!!!)
1996 - Ericsson GH198 GSM http://mmsbox.googlepages.com/n95image02.jpg
* 1997 - Nokia 2110 GSM (still intact battery stuffed)
* 1997 - Nokia 2120 TDMA (I think, I still have the handset but TDMA was problematic)
1998 - Nokia 252 AMPS starwars edition (matt silver instead of the horrible piano black or green)
* 1999 - Nokia 5110 GSM (wow, so many bells and Dot-matrix LCD... but chunky...)
* 2000 - Nokia 8810 GSM (IRDA support was a big seller, phone was over $1000 at the time)
* 2000 - Nokia 5120i TDMA (mo-sms on TDMA though rarely used.)
* 2001 - Nokia 6210 GSM (Wap handset)
* 2003 - Nokia 6310i GSM (GPRS handset)
* 2003 - Nokia 8260 TDMA (smallest TDMA 025 phone about)
* 2004 - Ericsson T68i (colour and early pxt)
2004 - Nokia 2280 CDMA (first cdma phone)
* 2004 - Qtek 1010 GSM (wanted the integrated PDA loved it and still have)
2005 - Ericsson T610 (PXT!, proper Xhtml support shame about the horrid camera and display)
2005 - Nokia 6225 CDMA (pxt on 027, utterly horrible keypad.)
* 2006 - i-mate PocketPC GSM (still have, legendary device, used whilst on OE)
2006 - SE (early 3G UMTS phone, actually quite enjoyed it but moved out of limited UMTS service area.)
* 2007 - Samsung w531 CDMA/GSM (dual networks in one handset, novelty wore off though)
* 2007 - Nokia N95 GSM/WCDMA (superb phone, still have it, sold but bought it back!)
* 2007 - Okta Touch CDMA (is now my car GPS)
* 2008 - Samsung i325 CDMA/GSM (great phone but not so great coverage and got a but abused and beaten)
* 2009 - LG NX550 (very good voice performer from factory, changed voice codec to Q-CELP MO/MT to improve this further, work-phone)
* 2009 - Nokia 6121c GSM/WCDMA900 Vodafone (extended 3g)
* 2009 - Nokia 6120c GSM/WCDMA850 Telecom XT (XT launch)

Use daily now... The Nokia 6210c and 6121c on Voda prepay and XT
