hairy1: February 22 is the date for Techbrands on Fair Go.

I got my charge back from the credit card company so am no longer a creditor. Good luck with those of you with money still outstanding.

Cheers, Matt.

What bank/credit card? how long did it take if you don't mine me asking?

BNZ Visa.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Probably about that. You have to give two weeks notice to the vendor etc. I applied for a refund on 11 Jan and just got the refund a few of days ago. Probably different from you as I never received any goods from the vendor.

Yeah my application for my refund has goods returned to supplier on it. No idea if that makes it easier or harder in the process. Are you buying another of what you brought from another retailer?

Yep. Bought from Expert Info Tech who I have purchased from before. Turned up in two days. More expensive though. Two sayings spring to mind: "If it is too good to be true then it probably is" and "You get what you pay for".

All very stink all around though. The problem was that the Tech Brands girls were quite responsive to phone and email messages which just strung me (and a lot of people) along for so long.....

So in terms of warranty claims for non functioning devices, there is no longer a RMA procedure with Tech Brands, so would this mean there is now no way to obtain warranty ?

Has anyone got any new info on Tech Brands? The Companies Office website still says it is "registered", but is "in the process" of removing the company from its website. What can I do now??

Btw, can you reverse a transaction with a visa debit card just as you would on a credit card?

It's now six months since your last post. I doubt you could get any charges reversed after this much time.
