Sorry ,answering my own question... The N97 charger AC-10U is the same one for the N900, so have purchased a couple of those for home and work and suitcase in anticipation of its arrival.

What will be the best way of importing contacts from my N95 to the N900? Bluetooth or PC suite??

Nokia US has just recieved more N900 stock if anyone is interested. I was tempted to cancel my Amazon order and order with them but I only have to wait till Wednesday for their stock to come in so not too fussed.

yeh i got it last tuesday. got it from new egg (via shipito)

screen is more responsive than n97, but i think the UI is what makes the difference.

@darkvader, currently pc suite 7 is the only way to sync contacts and calendar items (notes are not supported for some reason and need to be disable or the sync will fail)

Thanks @mcub3d, i have backed up the 95's data and contacts onto the latest pc suite so I presume if i restore or whatever onto the 900 i'll be Ok. My sim only holds about half of my contacts so it will be pc suite or bluetooth that will be most useful.
I look forward to this NZ site detailing ways to pimp our N900's !
Yeah.

maxximuscool: Anyone here got their rebate from Nokia?
I dont even have a clue how to do it.

Can we actually do it in NZ and send it by mail instead?

on the newegg site you could print off a form to fill out and send it. you gota sign up to ovi store and use that registration for the form.

one quick word if you are using vodafone sim. it doesnt seem to be fully compatible.
you can make calls/send receive texts/3g browse perfectly fine. but you will find that you cannot access the vodafone sim menu:
on the n97 for example, you can see Vodafone in the menu and it gives you options such as 'my account' and 'hotlink' etc.

the n900 does NOT have this and i received a text from vodafone telling me that my hotlink has been disable because the device im using is not supported.

its no real biggie but just want to let you guys know. you can just top up via the vodafone website, afterall the maemo browser is more than capable to render vodafone home page.

ps. waiting for my full body shield from zagg.. should be here today or tomorrow :)
