Disenchanted - I bought a 512mB SD card on 8th November and was charged $179.95. Was surprised - as I had been quoted $190 a week before, however when I received the card, the packaging actually has $329.95 on the barcoded price label.

Regarding my earlier problems with Harrier doing screen freezes etc - I've loaded music back on, but not the themes from msoft site - and so far its been running fine.

I really do have a problem with hearing the thing ring tho. Has anyone found any louder phone ring tones yet - I'd be really interested if you have.

Cheers
AKG

Torque, I have no idea why the difference in performance. The index is actually quite close to each other, so it's not much of a difference. Performance is affected by all components including memory speed, CPU, OS implementation, etc. Only if we had a difference of more than 10% I would worry. By all means they look pretty much the same in terms of overall performance.

SD Wi-Fi cards are available from Ascent. Look for Sandisk.

hi all.. newb here..

i got a harrier a few weeks back too.. had some issues with apps ive loaded but all in all its brilliant... theres plenty of free apps out there, best ive found are a battery monitor for on the today menu and a remote app so i can control if from my desktop keyboard and mouse.

what id liek to do tho is to use the harrier to control a pc itself, otehrway round.. there is an app preloaded called Terminal Services Client.. im not sure how the heck to set it up or use it.. will this give me control of a pc the unit is coneencted to via the USB cradle?

all in all, a great device, camera and video are pretty good too
