Hi all.

the camera on my Nokia 6255 wont work when I go into it it shows a blank grey screen the after about 5 secounds
it comes up with operation failed does anybody know how to fix this as I use to use the camera alot????

I did not drop the phone or exposed it to any moisture at all.

could be any one of a number of things.

first suggestion is to leave phone power ON, and remove battery for a few seconds, then replace. This may cure any software hiccups (or may not either).

You may be able to get a fixed price quote from a dealer to repair this, but i suspect this ageing phone may be cheaper to replace.

it may not be that severe, have you tried cleaning the lense on th camera, may have a build up of grime

I think that the problem might be software related as it takes a few seconds before the error message apears.

Is there any way to "re-install" or upgrade the software?
