Hi

I'm trying to do the same thing and I have some bad news: although the WTAI "white papers" support sending sms's via WTAI links, basically all manucaturers ignored this. Most manufacturers only support tha "public" part of WTAI - with which you can make calls, but not send sms's. I checked: no nokia, not the sony erricson p800 and p900 - none of them support wtai://wp/nt (nt means "Network Text")

Refer to the following links:

http://www.nowsms.com/framer.htm?http://www.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/3920.html (follow the link on UAProf Profiles)

I know, this really sucks because our WAP application would be sooo much more user friendly if we could use the sms capabilities of WTAI. (Before I get a post from someone saying I can use WML forms to send information: We can't use that because some services in our app depends on a Premium Rate SMS.)

Hope this helps

Regards

Werner
