When I go to send a message to a contact using the Nokia PC Suite 6.82.22.0 (note I have never tried this before), I get "Unable to send text message" in an error box. No number codes or anything. The contacts show up in the contact manager fine, I can create new contacts on the computer and update my phone with them.

I am using a Nokia 6265 with a MSI BToes ver. 254 Bluetooth USB Dongle with WIDCOMM 3.0.1.915 Drivers.

What am I doing wrong? It's probably something simple that I am overlooking.

Thanks for all help in advance.

If I recall this can't be done on the CDMA Nokias.

Oh really? I was under the impression that the PC would just send the 'send text message to x' signal to the phone via BT, then the phone would take this as a text message attempt from the actual phone and send it over the network, regardless of the technology that the network uses (CDMA/GSM...)

It would be good if the discussion forum you link to didn't require registration to read the discussion. I really don't like forums that do that...

Otherwise I've looked at the software's pages and screenshots, and it looks interesting. Obviously usual disclaimer applies as in be carefull where you install the software, run security programs, etc, until the source can be validated.
