Hi I have just bought a sony t238 off trade me

now it is not a supported phone in this country, by vodafone at least so when i try to download poly tones from voda live they tell me i can't coz my phone isn't supported, yet they support the t230 and the only differance that i know off is that mine gprs.

Now first question does anyone know if i can cheat the wap site from detecting my phone modal

2nd question can anyone tell me of a good nz based web site which i can can use to get poly tunes texted to me without the need for using a credit card, ie it comes of my account when i send the text.

if not any other ways of getting descent tunes apart from the one from the sony site which are very limited

thanks for your time

I have hardware that can change the Phone Type descriptor for you if you like, that'll achieve what you want.

You probably just want to use something like Float's Mobile Agent though, http://fma.sf.net

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

OOOHHHH HYPERFIBRE!
