I've got a couple of compact flash GSM/GPRS cards and one of them stopped working recently.

I put a terminal program on my WM5 device and sent several commands to the modem to find out what was wrong and discovered that "AT+CREG?" returns "0,3" , where 3=registration denied.

Anybody got any idea what causes registration to be denied?
Any tricks for getting it going?

Thanks for your help.

I would suggest that your IMEI is barred from the network.

Hmm - rather strange. Haven't really used it much, so can't understand why they'd do that.

Any idea on what part of Vodafone would actually be able to confirm this for me?

I recall asking the question once before (on 777), but didn't really get the feeling that they actually knew what I was asking 8-).

No idea I'm sorry. I would try 777 and see if you can get someone with clue.
