Hi:

I have a Nokia 6235, which I've had since around Oct last year.  The phone seemed to be working fine, until recently something annoying has haapened to it, altho in general the phone still seems to be working.

Firstly, I've taken a couple of pictures with the built-in camera, and have set one of the picture as the phone wallpaper, and assigned some other images to various contacts in my phonebook.  All seemed Ok at first, but then, I noticed that on occassion when I turn of the phone (I usually turn if off at night and back on in the mornings) my wallpaper and any assigned images to contats would be lost - it's like the phone resets to default but everything else is there - tones etc - only the wallpaper and images stuff gets reset!..

Then, just today, I decided to try and have a go at some java apps, and tried navigating to the Extra --> Collections folder and the phone just hangs while trying to open the collections folder.

As I said, the phone seems to work fine - funny thing is during the hang while opening the Collections folder, if I received a call the phone still rings and I take the call - if someone text me I can hear the SMS beep, but nothing would apprear on screen.  When if hangs the only thing I can do is to turn off the phone and back on.

Does anyone here know what could be wrong..?  Is there any way I could fix these annoying problems..?

Thanks.

Hi its more than likely that the phone will require the firmware to be re-flashed. I suggest you take it back to the store you got it from and get them to send it for repair. Cheers
