Hey everyone.

This is just a question about whether or not I should return a lost phone. I assume it's lost. I found a reasonably new Nokia 2280. It's a prepay, and basically, I could take it over I guess. I was just wondering, what you all think about whether I was to keep this phone, I know someone would be missing it. When I found it, it was left on a table at a cafe, and I went to the people who were on that tabke, but they said it wasn't theirs. I myself don't have a cellphone, and well, an opportunity knocks, should I take it, I know it's not fair on the owner.

Just like to hear some thoughts on this issue.

Ask yourself: if someone else found YOUR phone, would you want them to keep it?

Do the right thing man, karma will work for you and you'll probably win a free phone or something :D

Wise words, Ben!

If it's a prepay (which you say it's) you can drop in the Police Station. Otherwise just drop in any operator's dealer.

If you've handed it in to police and it doesn't get claimed in 28 days you will get it back.
I did that with a radio when i was a kid.
so i say well done on handing it in, and you get the prize of a phone - if no-one claims it, and you left your details with it.

woohoo, I may have won yet. Yep, I left the details with the police. I must follow that up. That may be my free phone. I also put it in the paper as found, so hey, I attempted to give it back, now it's fair game...lol. Thanks
