Haere taka mua, taka muri; kaua e wha.
Hoofhaarted: The Freebees plans from Vodafone don't need to be topped up...
Top up once, get a bonus number of Minutes and Texts ( and/or data), they expire after a month, but then you are still left with your original amount you topped up, to be used at a set rate. I.E 20c a text, or an amount per minute.
eXDee: Every prepaid system works like this. You simply load credit and it lasts up to a year which is pretty decent. It comes off at 9c/12c/20c/etc a text and 39/44/60c/etc per minute depending on what provider you're with. The fact that you can buy monthly packs of minutes/texts/data might be confusing you, but all this is doing is taking a chunk off your credit each month - you dont have to be on these addon packs.Hoofhaarted: The Freebees plans from Vodafone don't need to be topped up...

You're better off on Skinny or 2degrees than this. While prepaid freebies will give you a burst for 1 month when you top up, thats pretty useless if the rate is higher for your occasional use as it won't go as far.
I'd suggest skinny if you have a telecom compatible 3G phone, and 2degrees if not.

You don't understand how freebees works them, With Freebees DATA or TALK you can purchase data that lasts a day or a week same for any network minutes as well,
So you get the free burst and then you can buy the addons you like with the credit when the free topup bundles are all used up or expire,
Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
