Hello geeks, I understood from previous messages that Nokia2280 have RUIM slot not SIM slot which cannot be used for GSM service. I there any other way i can enable the same for GSM service i.e., by changing the program in the Nokia 2280 to enable the GSM service.

Never in a 100 years buddy, forget about that idea. Just go for a GSM handset

it will never work the RF circuitry is different along with every other part. it's there for "future use" but was never actually used it was a "maybe if" option.
