Yesterday at 1.00 pm I sent a text from my HTC One (Telecom) to my wife's Samsung S2 (Vodafone). She did not receive it until 7.25 pm. I would appreciate any thoughts on why/how this happened.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

There was a large thread on this already yesterday.

I have often experienced issues between VF and TC when texting. Been happening on and off for as long as I can remember. Gave up trying to get a resolution as each provider just blamed the other.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Read the thread in the Vodafone forum. There was a fault.

I have a SMS gateway that can often send out 50 messages per day from VF to Telecom phones and have never seen any such issues.
