I have a Nokia 3586, on a telecom corporate 24 month plan, which I started in Jan this year. I rang up today to see how much it would cost to disconnect, and the CSR said around $500 if I did so later on in may..... right now It would be $700!! Which is twice the RRP of my phone!

Why are the fees so high? Its outrageous, and I'm sure it wasn't that much when I signed the contract.......I'll be talking to telecom tomorrow asking for them to send it out to again so I can read through it, and make sure....... but heck!

Disconnection fees havent been changed for a long time.
Its in the fine print when you sign up to get the phone at a cheaper price. Vodafone and telecom are the same. And the price isnt determined by the phone, it is determined by what plan you are on

Deact fees has nothing to do with the value of a phone, why are you deacting ?? and if they make the deacts fees really high there is less chance of you leaving
