Hi guys,

I have a friend visiting from China soon.

My question is:

If my friend purchased a decent smartphone over there then gave it to me. Would I be able to use it here in New Zealand on Vodafone 4G (or others)...

Cheers
Kohn Jea

As long as it is unlocked and supports the required bands/frequencies for your preferred network here, sure, I don't see why not.

See if they can get you a genuine iPhone 7, I hear they're coming out first in China...
