Hi,

When My inbox is full, and I get sent a txt message, the phone dispalys the message "no space for messages". however when I delete some messages to free up space, the origional message never arrives ( as used to happen with my gsm 6310 !! ) given that the phone only holds 40-50 txt's this is happening quite a bit.

Has any one else seen this problem, and do you know if there is a SW upgrade for it?

This is a Telecom issue not a phone issue. When the CDMA network sends the message to the phone and the inbox is full it is deleted off the Telecom servers. The only real way around this is go into Menu, Messages, Text Messages, Message Settings, Other Setting then Message overwriting. If you set this to 'Sent items only' this should give you roughly twice the storage space before your inbox becomes full because it automatically deletes messages out of the Sent items if it needs space. If you set it to 'Sent items & inbox' then you will not have the "No space for new messages" problem again. Just make sure you save any messages you wish to keep into another folder (eg. Archive) before they get deleted. Hope this helps
