Is this boost only and not Telecom Mobile? All the reports I heard on the radio today just referred to Telecom increasing their cap from 500 to 1000 per month.

It could be the 'boost' boost needs to rejuvinate a dead brand.

Telecom aren't referring to the 1000 cap as being 025/027 only in any of their PR stuff today, even TV3 just said a '1000 msg cap'. They said after that msgs to 025/027 were 2c each also stuffed up and the gfx said msgs to other networks were 10c but Carol said 20c.

I guess it's not in Telecom's interest to make the fine print clear, they'll wait for everybody to switch and start getting all those 20c SMS's from ppl before they realise.

Guess the media dont always get it right aye. They enjoy enflaming the issues too. On the Boost site it does state that it is only for text to 025/027. The link is in my post above

I changed my Plan to the new one on the Boostmobile Web Site
also got $10 free Credit for doing so
this was on the normal CDMA after Hours Prepaid plan previously.

Can anyone tell me if the messages used to start with ( to destroy your initial $10 for the month )
be made up of all SMS or do they need to be to NZ only ??

Only SMS to 027 counts. You should really say "consume" or "use".

SMS to both 025 and 027 counts towards the 1000 SMS cap on Boost Monsta Txt. I'm assuming the count will be reset once you transfer to Boost - hence the $10 credit.

Thanks for that
Its not likely I'm even going to get up to the $10.00 as most of my contacts
are overseas or on Vodafone .

I tried to change the 025 to the $1.00 TEXT plan . After 5 days nothing has happened
to mine or a friends number ( no confirmation text like 027 )
