Guys I have just purchased a Samsung N7502 dual sim phone. I am wanting trying to run to Skinny sim cards. I'm have problems where 1 card is connecting but the second card is coming up "emergency Calls" only. Is this because I can't run 2 Skinny sims or is it a setting problem? Help much appreciated. Jason
All Dual SIM phones that I am aware of have only 1 3G Radio . This means that only SIM will operate on 3G the other SIM will run on GSM. As Spark/Skinny do not have a GSM Back up only 1 SIM will work. IF you have a number which you use for calling text only you could port it to 2 degrees or Vodafone which have a GSM backup which will work. I would not recommend using GSM for Data.
Most dual sim phones only do UMTS on the primary sim uses for data and only GSM on the secondary one for voice calls and sms.
I'm not familiar with that samsung but I have several cheap Chinese ones that behave like that. You can swap which sim is active by changing the data connection over, so it is easier than popping the back open and physically changing Sims over.
The only dual SIM that I have played with was the Moto G that does 3G on either SIM but not both at the same time. One has to be in 2G / GSM mode to work for two SIM cards....
