Seriously... You can register with Manage Your Account service, and when you login you can see how many SMS were sent in a month, latest phone calls, etc.

There's a number that you send a SMS to and receive your balance back, including SMS used. I just can't remember the number.

Manage your account can only be used for contract customers. Customers on prepay can not view detailed transactions.

You can text 'Bal' to 777 for an account balance. If you are on contract it will tell you how many free text messages you have left. On prepay you can only view remaining credit.

You can alternatively contact 777 24/7 and they can tell you have many text messages you have sent.

Hmmm. This should be new, because I had a couple of prepay SIM that were registered on Vodafone Manage Your Account. I don't have them anymore so can't confirm now. But the SMS BAL to 777 is the thing I couldn't remember.

My apologies, i should clarify my post. Prepay customers CAN use MYA to:

- Top Up by credit card
- Check credit balance
- Check credit expiry
- View / change phone user information
- Retreive PUK 1/2 codes

What i meant to say was you can not view details transaction information.

The con about sending a TXT to 777 is that it's only a free service after you've used up any included SMS's - ie if you get 20 free SMS per month on your plan sending BAL to 777 will use up one of these to tell you your balance. Once you've used your included TXT's it's free to send TXT's to 777

FIX: Buy a phone with a resettable SMS counter. I think some recent sony-ericssons have them.

Vodafone have no plans to make transactional information available on MYA on the website.. this would make PrePay users have an ability to see transactions and well for some reason vodafone is very against this.

(OK, the reason is to stop bosses issuing staff with pre pay phones and then being able to "bill" their staff for work calls.)
