Call me crazy... but I have theory I've been pondering for a while...

On an uncanny number of occasions, I have randomly picked up my cell phone the moment before it beeps saying I have a txt message. I recall friends often doing the same.

I don't know much about the workings of cell phones, but I think (correct me if I'm wrong) the information is sent through electromagnetic waves of frequencies a bit lower than microwaves.

I was thinking it's possible our brains have associated sensing these frequencies with receiving messages?

Has anyone else noticed this ?coincidence? happening to them or can point out why it isn't feasible?

Maybe you pick up so phone so often that its only natural for you to occasionally receive a text just after you pick it up?
