I’ve just upgraded my phone from a Nokia 6310 to a Panasonic X70, previously I was able to use the GPRS service without a problem, I’ve transferred the sim card (which is old, from my first phone which was about 2000) and now I’m have difficulty using the GPRS/Wap functions.

I’m not sure if anyone can help me here but I’ve emailed Orange (My network) as I’d prefer not to call and waste money if I can get away with it but they’ve yet to reply.

The reception signal turns into a star sort of shape if GPRS is activated, which has been shown until I try to connect using GPRS and after I receive GPRS services unavailable and then the reception signal then turns back into the ordinary symbol.

I’ve re-entered the GPRS server settings from the phone manual yet still no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is an inconvenience to me right now.

I plan too :) It's the best and most obvious idea, only I have to wait until tomorrow when I've got the money.

Apparently GPRS wasn't activated on my account, however I've been using it for at least a year with my old phone.
