Thought a few people would be interested in this we there was a few kicking a stink when all cards were replaced with contactless ones.

I've been able to swap accounts and disable cards on the cooperative bank app for a bit now but this is really cool that my main bank will now do the same. So handy as I'm pretty sure the last few cards I've had to cancel were lost in my bag.

Doesn't mention anywhere in the story about disabling contactless payments?

Oops my bad linked wrong article. The Stuff one mentions it: http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/67927099/asb-app-offers-ability-to-switch-off-contactless-payments (sorry if I'm not adding URLs correctly, iPad is making it difficult to see buttons)

It allows you to turn off ATM cash withdrawals, payWave, In-Store International Transactions, Online Transactions, and set a spending limit per transaction as well as temporarily block the card. You also get a notification on your phone if you try to use a feature that's been blocked which is cool.

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

I like this control. I want to disable International In Store/ATM charges (except when i travel). But the last thing i want to do is disable contactless - which i consider the most secure in terms of chance of being skimmed.
