Seems like with all the bad press on the snapdragon 810, even with its coming revisions to fix the heat issues, Intel are becoming a serious contender with Atoms giving great performance. I can see a bunch of Intel powered devices I would really like to own when some current gen devices die. I am really liking the look of the Dell Venue 8 7000 and slightly regretting buying the Huawei Honor 6 over the Zenphone 2, extra $100 notwithstanding.
Anyone else think Intel could finally be making serious inroads into the mobile and tablet space? Would you buy an Intel powered device?

Honestly its been years and years since I last bought a device because of what brand CPU/GPU it has. It's all about the end user experience these days, performance is generally not the biggest selling point.
